Although the 2016 BMW M6 does not have a lot to change to attract customers, the new model offers driving dynamics, efficiency and exclusivity.

For the first time in the market, BMW introduced the series with the tag 6, back in 1976. The first significant changes experienced in 1984. It was a high performance model. This series BMW was stopped 1989 years, to appear in 2006 as the M6 coupe. The third generation was launched in 2013 with a 4.4 – liter V8 engine. 2016 model will undergo significant changes for all three versions of the coupe and convertible grand coupe. The front and rear of the car is updated and slightly revised the interior.

2016 BMW M6 Exterior
Very small changes are visible on the new BMW. The front part comes with the standard LED headlights. They’re a little different in shape, and with a different bottom casing. Sporty and dynamic look will attract lovers of the vehicle, due to high performance. At the front is the grid with the decorative front bumper and large air slot. The front part is powerful, with gills, and with the 19-inch alloy wheels at the bottom. Grand Coupe is exclusive with forged 20-inch light-alloy wheels. Exclusivity for all three models gives the rear part with integrated diffuser and two sets of exhaust pipes, as well as the M6. The roof is made of very light material, which reduces the weight of 308 pounds, compared to its predecessor. Coupe and convertible have three doors and four seats. Grand coupe has five doors and five seats. It is slightly larger in size.

2016 BMW M6 Engine
Under the hood is a bit more complex engine. Twin-turbo, 4.4 – liter V8 provides a new force torque. Power comes between 6000 and 7000 rpm, when it reaches the power of 560 horses and torque remains between 1500 and 5750 rpm.
Both models, the M6 coupe and gran coupe are able to develop 62 mph in 4.2 seconds, while the convertible takes 4.3 seconds. Fuel consumption is satisfactory in spite of the powerful engine. Optional equipment includes an additional 15 horsepower, for a total of 575 horsepower. The optional package includes the optional sports exhaust system, 20-inch wheels and the settings for suspension.
Engine power is transmitted to the rear wheels to provide greater control of the vehicle over 7 speed transmission. The handle is located on the steering wheel. The driver has the option of switching to manual adjustment of speed. Depending on driving conditions and the road, gives the possibility to reduce slippage, and thus greater driving safety. Ceramic brakes are also a package for all three BMW models.
